These products are distributed through the nation-wide network of Tyco Water Customer Service Centres to all market sectors.

HISTORY
Wang Components began as a privately owned company in Wangaratta Victoria in 1963. Originally operating as E.D. Evans Pty Ltd it was involved primarily in the pumping and irrigation business. The company soon became involved in the water reticulation industry, and while business increased, E.D. Evans Pty Ltd found it increasingly difficult to obtain the supplies of specialist pipe fittings necessary to service their clients in the water, gas and associated industries. During this period it was decided to manufacture its own brand of pipeline fittings.
In the early 80’s the company began to manufacture stainless steel clamps known as %u201Kawanda” (Cocky) Clamps. A foundry was opened in 1985 for the production of gibaults. A dedicated stainless steel manufacturing plant was then opened in the early 90’s when the then named Wangaratta Industries, began its onslaught of the Australian clamp market. The company name was shortened to WANG Industries in 1995.
In 2001 WANG Industries was acquired by Tyco Flow Control Pacific, and was positioned within the Tyco Water group of businesses.
ACTIVITY
The Wang Components division of Tyco Water Pty Ltd, manufactures stainless steel clamp products, and multi-size couplings for the water, sewer, mining and agricultural industries in Australia. The sales function of this product range is facilitated by the Tyco Water Customer Centres who represent the product to water authorities, engineers, contractors and resellers. WANG Clamps and Couplings are also exported to New Zealand, Singapore, Indonesia and the Middle East.
MANUFACTURING FACILITY
The Wang Manufacturing facility is located in Wangaratta, North East Victoria. The plant is capable of manufacturing stainless steel components to Australian welding standard AS1554.6 - Welding stainless steel for structural purposes. The company employs certified welders and they have been independently tested.
QUALITY ASSURANCE
The company maintains a quality assurance system to AS/NZS ISO 9001: 2000. Lic No. QEC4596.
