The design is in accordance with American standards API, ASME/ANSI B16.34.
The robust design incorporates an erosion allowance built into the wall sections.

Automation
On/off actuation and automation of the regrinding capability are available:

Conforms to ASME/ANSI B16.5 Class 150, 300 and 600. DIN PN10, PN20, PN50 or PN100.
Flanges are supplied with raised faces and have a serrated spiral finish.

Disc and Seat Material:
Disc: AS 3678 Grade 250 or AS 1443 Grade 1020, with Stellite overlay on seat faces.
Seat: AS 3678 Grade 250 or AS 1443 Grade 1020, with Stellite overlay on seat faces.
Studs and Nuts:
Studs to ASTM A193 Grade B7
Nuts to ASTM A194 Grade 2H
