Management Accountability and Administration
Introduction
The purpose of the Tyco Flow Control Pacific (TFC Pacific) Environmental Health and Safety Management Systems (EH&S MS) is to align with the requirements of the Tyco Corporate EH&S Framework and provide a structure in which TFC Pacific Business Units can continually improve their EH&S performance by efficiently and effectively managing their EH&S risks and issues and proactively sustain compliance and promote continuous improvement.
The Tyco Corporate EH&S Framework is comprised of a Health and Safety Framework and an Environmental Framework. Although conformance with the requirements of the Health and Safety Framework and the Environmental Framework can be pursued as separate management systems, it is recommended that their implementation be integrated when practicable. Expectations are that the Health and Safety Framework and the Environmental Framework will be combined in the future into a single Framework which will be consistent with the single Tyco Corporate EH&S Policy.
The requirements of the TFC Pacific EH&SMS apply to all TFC Pacific businesses and operations worldwide. TFC Pacific operations include subsidiaries, joint ventures and partnerships where TFC Pacific has a controlling interest (usually greater than 50% ownership, voting control, or control is contractually assigned).
