Precision - Total Dust Collector Control System
The Goyen Precision series dust collector cleaning systems controller has a unique modular format that allows a simple Sequential Mode controller to be easily upgraded to Enhanced Differential Pressure Mode control, analog and digital I/O, and full SCADA and DCS integration.

Description:
This new generation cleaning system controller is presented as an easily configurable master plus expansion card platform. The master controller has 10 on-board outputs, which may be expanded to 200 outputs total through the connection of up to nineteen 10 output expansion cards. All outputs feature individual push-button manual triggers and LED lights. The expansion cards are available with compact push-in terminals or large screw-terminal types.
Precision P1 - Continuous Control
The Continuous Control interface provides simple and dependable reverse pulse cleaning control on a time interval basis. Electrical actuation times range from 30 to 500ms and the between pulse pause time ranges from 1 to 999 seconds. Valves are pulsed sequentially.
Some other features include:
- Automatic solenoid detection on start up.
- Pulse counter.
- Automatic solenoid failure detection
- Count-down timer to next pulse
- A visible indication of the next solenoid to pulse.
- Manual solenoid triggers and individual output LEDs.
These features ease the product installation and diagnosis of cleaning system problems.
Precision P2 - Enhanced Demand Control
In addition to the features of the P1, the Enhanced Demand Control Interface provides sophisticated on-demand filter cleaning functions. The cleaning cycle is regulated by the differential pressure across the filters on the basis of high and low differential pressure limits, or on the basis of a trigger value and a % pressure drop desired.
Enhanced features include:
- Display in a choice of measurement units.
- Optional definition of minimum pulse rates while in demand mode (two speed cleaning).
- A selection of pre-programmed cleaning patterns to minimise dust re-entrainment.
- Filter precoating.
- Blowdown (shut-down) cleaning cycles.
P-CTX - Voltage free contacts module
The contacts module allows the Precision system to interface easily to range of devices including programmable logic controllers, lights, push buttons, sirens and chart recorders. This is achieved through voltage free contacts and a 4-20mA differential pressure output. Functionality includes:
- Alarm outputs
- Pulsing indicators
- Manual cycle trigger
- Alarm reset inputs
- One Auxilliary inpu (Eg. broken filter detector)
P-MOD - Modbus RTU network module
The P-MOD module allows the full integration of the Precision controller into SCADA / plant control networks. With all controller events accessible and each control output individually addressable, total distributed control system integration with particulate monitoring devices and process controls is possible.
